The country reported 15 fresh dengue cases in last 24 hours till Monday morning (May 23), said the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

In the 24 hours, 14 new dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals in Dhaka, said the DGHS release.

However, one dengue patient was identified outside the capital.

Some 264 patients were admitted to different hospitals with dengue while 230 patients returned home after recovery after January 1.

However, 28,429 patients were admitted to different hospitals with dengue while 28,265 patients recovered last year. A total of 105 died from the mosquito-borne disease during that time.
