Rajbari:  Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) Monday seized heroin worth about Tk. 85 lakh from a bus in the district town.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of RAB-8 searched a Kushtia-bound passenger bus at Polash Filing Station near Sripur bus stand at about 2pm and recovered 850 grams of heroin wrapped in three packets.

Rajbari camp commander Abdullah Al Mahmud told banglanews24.com.bd the seized drugs were valued at Tk. 85 lakh.

Law enforcers, in different raids, recovered heroin, worth about Tk. 3 crore, from Dauladia Rail Station, Dauladia Ferry ghat and Rajbari Bus Terminal areas in last 15 days.
