Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today predicted light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind at a few places over five divisions and one or two places over other three divisions in the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9am today (March 29).

According to the Met office bulletin, light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi and Chattogram divisions with moderately heavy falls at places over the country.

Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, it added.

Today, the country's minimum temperature was recorded at 16.8 degree celsius at Tetulia while maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded 36.0 degree celsius at Rajshahi.
