SAVAR: Police recovered the body of a schoolboy from a pond nearby his school in Ashulia early Sunday.

The deceased was identified as Mahfuzur Rahman, 11, a student of Tangail Pre-cadet Day Care School in Gazirchat area.

Local people told banglanews24.com.bd that Mahfuz went missing on Saturday afternoon and police recovered the body at early hours Sunday.

The Ashulia thana Officer-in-Charge said the deceased’s parents received the body from police without filing any case in this regard.
