Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today forecasted that weather may remain mainly dry over the country for the next 24 hours since on Tuesday (Nov 12) morning.
According to BMD’s bulletin, weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country.
A low-pressure area has formed over Southwest Bay of Bengal and the adjoining area. Its' associated trough extends up to North Bay. It is likely to move towards Tamil Nadu-Sri Lanka coasts, it said.
Night and day temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country, it added.
Country's highest temperature on Monday was recorded 34.5 degree celsius at Sandwip and the lowest temperature today was 17.7 degree celsius at Tetulia.
The sun sets today at 05-14PM and rises tomorrow at 06-12 AM in the capital.
