NILPHAMARI: Two bikers were killed in a road accident near Dhuhuli bazar in the northern district town on Tuesday night.

The deceased were identified as Bishal, 30, and Babu, 21, both hailed from Shantinagar area of the district.

Witnesses and police told banglanews24.com.bd that at around 10:30 pm a speeding truck ran over a motorcycle carrying Bishal and Babu on Jaldhaka road near Dhuhuli bazar.

“The bikers swerved to avoid the speeding truck but fell with the bike and got run over by the truck`s rear wheels,” says a spot account of the accident.

Both of them were killed on the spot.

Police recovered the bodies and sent to the morgue for autopsy.
