Mymensingh blasts: 2 JMB men jailed for 50 yrs each

DHAKA: The Speedy Trial Tribunal-4 Wednesday convicted two members of Jama`atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) and sentenced them to 50 years imprisonment each for exploding bombs in RK Mission Road area under Kotwali thana.

Justice Rezaul Karim handed down the verdict at 12:10 pm. The convicts are Salahuddin alias Salehin and Asaduzzaman Panir.

Another accused in the bombing case, Sharif, was acquitted as the court said his “guilt was not proved”.
