Newly wed couple killed in road crash

Sirajganj: A newly wed couple fell victims to reckless driving of a vehicle at Nalka on the connecting road to the Bangabandhu Bridge on Wednesday morning.

The victims were senior officer of Jamalpur Krishi Bank Mohammad Farhad Hossain, 30, and his wife Munni, 22.

Sub-inspector of Bangabandhu Bridge West Thana Mohammad Riazuddin told banglanews24.com.bd that a speeding bus rammed the motorbike the couple was riding, “leaving both dead on the spot”.

Police recovered and sent the bodies to Kamarkhand police station. Later, the bodies were handed over to their family members.
