DHAKA: The Public Works department has started eviction drive against the illegal part of the Ramna Restaurant on Tuesday.

The drive began at 11 am led by Public Works department`s executive engineer Shamsur Rahman and executive magistrate Akramuzzaman.

Shamsur Rahman told banglanews24.com.bd that the land used by the restaurant belongs to the Public Works Department which the restaurant had been using illegally. The Supreme Court on July 29 ordered for its eviction.
