SIRAJGANJ: Two people were killed and two others injured as a rashly-driven bus ploughed through a rickshaw-van on Sirajganj-Pabna road in Ullapara upazila Wednesday night.

The deceased were identified as Abdul Mannan, 40 and Fazar Ali, 45.

Police and witnesses said the speeding bus rammed into the van at Garadhaha at about 11pm, killing the two van passengers on the spot and injuring two others.

The injured were admitted to the Upazila Health Complex.
