MUNSHIGANJ: Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairperson Khaleda Zia is scheduled to visit Munshiganj on May 24.

She is expected to address a rally in town’s Launch Ghat area on that day while more than lakhs leader and activists are expected to join the programme.

BNP district committee president and former deputy minister Abdul Hye told banglanews that the party has already submitted an application for the rally to the deputy commissioner (DC) of the district on Sunday.

However, local BNP leaders and activists, all are now being inspired over visit of the party chief. They are now passing a very busy time to make the rally a success.
