CHITTAGONG: Police in a nightlong drive detained 18 Jamaat-Shibir men from Lohagara and Satkania Upazila of the district on Friday night.

Lohagara Thana Officer-in-Charge Shahjahan told banglanews, “Police detained 12 Shibir men from the upazila and most of them were wanted in several cases.”

Confirming the matter Satkania Thana Officer-in-Charge Khaled told banglanews, “In the nightlong drive police detained six Jamaat-Shibir men from the upazila for their alleged involvement in subversive activities.”
