RAJSHAHI: BNP Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed threatened the government that wildfires would spread out if an inclusive national election is not held.

“The government should declare national election without delay with the participation of all political parties otherwise wildfires will be spread out across the country,” he said.

The BNP leader came up with the assertion while addressing a protest rally at Bhuban Mohan Park here on Tuesday. 

Rizvi said, “We are ready to join in the war for democracy with the people.”

BNP central joint secretary Harun-or-Rashid and central committee member and Rajshahi City Mayor Mosaddek Hossain Bulbul were among others present at the rally.

BNP Joint Secretary General, also Rajshahi City BNP president Mizanur Rahman Minu presided over the rally.
