NOAKHALI: An activist of Chhatra League was shot to death and 10 others were injured in a clash with local Chhatra Dal in Amishapara union under Sonaimuri upazila of the district on Friday.

The deceased was identified as Jabed, 25, residents of the area.

Police sources said that activists of local BCL and Chhatra Dal locked into a clash over establishing supremacy in the area around 1:00 pm, leaving Jabed dead on the spot and 10 others from both groups injured critically.

Officer-in-Charge of Sonaimuri Thana Abdus Samad confirmed the matter to banglanews.
