DHAKA: Police detained Abeed, a listed terror in Feni, and his eight aides after detecting them in video footages of Fulgazi upazila chairman Ekramul killing. 

Sources in Feni police confirmed that they were arrested from capital Dhaka.

Earlier, law enforcers identified four killers of a squad of 30-35 men, Ruti Sohel, Parvez and Humayun, basing on video footages taken by witnesses during the killing.

Sources said Abeed, who is the elder son of general secretary of district Mohila Awami League Laila Jasmin Boromani, shoot Ekram in the head first.

Laila Jasmin Boromani is a relative of notorious Joynal Hazari.

On May 20, Ekramul was shot and burnt to death inside his car.
