DHAKA: Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s demand of disbanding Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) elimination is illogical.
The leaders of Bangladesh Islamic Oikya Jote made the remarks in a human-chain protesting Khaleda’s demand at the National Press Club on Saturday noon.
They claimed that disbanding RAB is not the solution of preventing crimes. Justice should be ensured for those who are corrupted, they added.
Organization’s Secretary Hafez Maulana Ziaul Hasan, General Secretary Maulana Mahib Ullah Mozaddedi and Deputy Secretary Mufti Zobair Ali were among others present at the protest programme.
