Under the dynamic leadership of Bangladesh Jewellers’ Association (BAJUS) President Sayem Sobhan Anvir, organisational strength of the body has remarkably boosted.

This was said by central leaders of the organisation at a view exchange meeting with Madaripur unit leaders and stakeholders in a district venue on Thursday.

About grim picture of BAJUS in the past, they said jewellers were disintegrated, adding that Sayem Sobhan stood by them as a banyan tree.

“A congenial atmosphere has been prevailing in the jewellery industry since takeover of presidency by Anvir. Now, BAJUS is one of the strong business organisations of the country.”

Speaking as the chief guest, MA Wadud Khan, former president of BAJUS and chairman of BAJUS Standing Committee on Law and Membership, lauded the role of Sayem Sobhan Anvir in streamlining the business.
