Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS) central leaders hoped that all jewellers in the district will come under an umbrella within a week.

The central leaders of BAJUS said it during a view exchange meeting with Munshiganj unit leaders and stakeholders at a district venue on Friday (Dec 30). 

They also demanded safety of their lives and business entities.

BAJUS former president Dilip Kumar Roy was the chief guest while Swarna Shilpalaya president Ajay Karmakar Putu chaired over the session.

During the meeting, trade body leaders urged the sought support of home minister to rescue the robbed gold and goods from Baligaon market of the district.

BAJUS assistant secretary Narayan Chandra Dey, executive members Reponul Hasan and Pabitra Chandra Ghosh, district unit secretary Laxman Mukherjee were also present at the meeting.
