DHAKA: Standard Bank, a private commercial banks of Bangladesh, inaugurated its new branch at Chittagong, said a press release.  

Recently in a befitting manner with a big-bang Kazi Akram Uddin Ahmed, President of FBCCI who is also the Chairman of the Bank graced the function as Chief Guest.

Vice Chairman of the bank Ashok Kumar Saha attended the ceremony as Special Guest. M Nazmus Salehin, Managing Director of the bank, presided over the function.

Directors of the banks--Kamal Mostafa Chowdhury, Mohammed Abdul Aziz, SAM Hossain, Alhaj Mohammad Shamsul Alam, Gulzar Ahmed, M Zahidul Haque, Al-haj M Yousuf Chowdhury, Alhaj Nurul Haque Sowdagor and LCI, PDG Najmul Huq Chowdhury MJF attended the ceremony as guest of honour.
 
DMD of the bank Mamun-ur-Rashid, Chittagong Regional Manager Nurus Safa, Valued clients, prominent industrialists, business personalities, Bank Executives from Dhaka and Chittagong and local elites were present on the occasion.
