DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway with downward trend of share-price indices on Monday.

The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange Broad Index, DSEX, shed over one point to stand at 980 at 12:40pm.

Trade deals stood at 1,18, 448  with volume of transactions at Tk 5,783 million.

Of the issues traded, 125 advanced, 143 declined and 17 remained unchanged.
    
MPETROLEUM topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 260 million having changed hands.

Following the suit, the Chittagong Stock Exchange Selective Categories Index (CSCX) climbed down to 9484 by dropping over eight points at about 12:40pm.

Out of the issues traded, 97 gained, 112 declined and 15 remained unchanged.
