DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway showing gain in share-price indices on Thursday.

The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, rose over 65 points to stand at 4876 at 11:15 am on the last trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 24,452 with transaction at Tk 1761 million.

Of the issues traded, 220 advanced, 17 declined and 21 remained unchanged.

SQURPHARMA topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 129 million having changed hands during the time.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 9,530 by gaining over 86 points at 11:18am.

Out of the issues traded, 91 gained, 26 declined and 15 remained unchanged.
