DHAKA: Investors witnessed gain in the benchmark indices of the country’s bourses on Wednesday.

The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, rose over zero point to stand at 4,763 at the close on the fourth trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 112761 with transaction at Tk 4,724 million. Of the issues traded, 94 advanced, 170 declined and 30 remained unchanged.

SQURPHARMA  topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 422 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were BSCCL, MPETROLEUM, OLYMPIC, JAMUNAOIL, PADMAOIL, LANKABAFIN, GP , RENATA and AFCAGRO.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 9,363 by gaining over five points.

Out of the issues traded, 63 gained, 148 declined and 23 remained unchanged.
