DHAKA: Investors witnessed minor fall in benchmark indices of the country’s bourses on Sunday.

The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange Broad Index, DSEX, shed over 10 points to stand at 4688 at the close on the first trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 1,09,103 with volume of transactions at Tk 5,106 million.

Of the issues traded, 83 advanced, 185 declined and 25 remained unchanged.

LAFSURCEML topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 408 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were SQURPHARMA, SQUARETEXT, BSCCL, GP, SINGERBD, MPETROLEUM, OLYMPIC, JAMUNAOIL, BSC

Chittagong Stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 9159 by dropping over 48 points.

Out of the issues traded, 52 gained, 152 declined and 18 remained unchanged.
