DHAKA: The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) on Wednesday quizzed BNP leader, also former MP of Laxmipur-3, Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Anee in connection with the allegation of acquiring wealth illegally.  

ACC deputy director Manjur Morshed interrogated the BNP leader for over one hour from 10 am.

Actually, the Anti-graft body asked Anee to appear before it on Thursday. But the BNP leader appeared at the ACC head office on Wednesday to avoid media, said ACC investigation department sources.

Showing personal reason, Anee sought time to ACC to quiz him day before on scheduled time.
