DHAKA: Both two bourses of the country witnessed mixed trend in share-price indices on Wednesday.

The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, rose over seven points to stand at 4,594 at the close on the fourth trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 87,120 with transaction at Tk 5,374 million. Of the issues traded, 140 advanced, 131 declined and 26 remained unchanged.
    
LAFSURCEML topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 775 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were GP, HEIDELBCEM, PADMAOIL, OLYMPIC, MPETROLEUM, SQURPHARMA, ABBANK, BSC and GOLDENSON.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8,871 by dropping over zero point.
 
Out of the issues traded, 96 gained, 102 declined and 23 remained unchanged.
