DHAKA: Bangladesh Unnayan Parishad (BUP) awarded a crest to Finance Minister AMA Muhith on occasion of his 80th birthday on Monday.

The crest was awarded by BUP in its anniversary function at a conference room of Dhaka University’s Senate Bhaban.

Muhith said BUP is working for last 34-year in the country. He also admitted and appreciated many developing research work of the organization.

The Finance Minister greeted BUP on its 34th anniversary and also thanked BUP for awarding him.

He also recalled a long time relationship with the organization.

The Chairman of BUP MA Jalil presided over the program where the founder Chairman of the organization Dr Kazi Khalikuzzaman Ahmed and former Vice-Chancellor of Jagannath University Professor Kazi Saleh Ahmed were present there among others.
