DHAKA: Both two bourses of the country witnessed mixed trend in share-price indices on Monday.

The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, rose over one point to stand at 4,506 at the close on the second trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 82,574 with transaction at Tk 3,681 million. Of the issues traded, 178 advanced, 81 declined and 36 remained unchanged.

GP topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 205 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were HEIDELBCEM, OLYMPIC, MPETROLEUM, LAFSURCEML, MATINSPINN, SQURPHARMA, PADMAOIL, PADMAOIL and EHL.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbed down to 8672 by dropping over 3 points.

Out of the issues traded, 94 gained, 90 declined and 27 remained unchanged.
