DHAKA: Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited organized view exchange meeting and ifter mahfil in honor of the representatives of foreign exchange houses’ liaison office in Bangladesh at a local hotel on Monday.

Mohammad Abdul Mannan, as chief guest said, Islami Bank is playing pioneering role in bringing foreign remittance through banking channel considering social responsibility. 

Economic development and progress of the country get momentum as foreign remittance is added with export business now-a-days, he added.

He also called upon all to work together for strengthening remittance industry for the greater benefit of the country as well as the nation.

The program was presided over by Mohammad Mahbub-ul-Alam, Deputy Managing Director and also Head of International Banking Wing.

Kazi Kamrul Islam, Executive Vice President and Head of Foreign Operations Trade Division, was also present at the program, which was addressed by Mohammad Maksudur Rahman, Senior Vice President & Head of FRSD, Mohammad Masud Chowdhury, Chief Representative, Al Ansari Exchange, AKM Nazmul Hossain Masum, Head of IME Bangladesh, Debu Biswash, Business Development Manager, Lulu Int. among others.
