DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway showing gain in share-price indices on Thursday.

The broad index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, rose over 17 points to stand at 4,405 at 11:20am.

Trade deals stood at 12249 with transaction at Tk 737  million.

Of the issues traded, 92 advanced, 70 declined and 49 remained unchanged.

GP topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 279 million having changed hands during the time.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8,334 by gaining over 13 points at 11:19am.

Out of the issues traded, 31 gained, 43 declined and 13 remained unchanged.
