DHAKA: Officials of Janata Bank Limited have paid their tribute to the portrait of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Dhanmondi in city, commemorating his 39th death anniversary.

The officials, led by Chairman Abul Barkat, also a noted economist of the country, placed floral wreaths in the morning.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Omar Farooque, also Managing Director (Current Charge), DMDs M Golam Sarwar, M Mosharraf Hossain and M Iftikhar Uz Zaman, Principal of JBTI Tapon Kumar Ghosh and High Officials, Officers Association, CBA Leaders and Employees of the bank were present here.
