DHAKA: Country’s stock market marked gain in its price indices on Monday.

The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, rose over 23 points only to stand at 4,564 at the close on the second trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 140,596 with volume of transactions at Tk 7073 million.

Of the issues traded, 155 advanced, 117 declined and 23 remained unchanged.

BEXIMCO topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 475 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were MJLBD, BSRMSTEEL, LAFSURCEML, SQURPHARMA, KPPL, SUMITPOWER, GP, ACI     and BSC.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8,614 by gaining over 35 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 102 gained, 106 declined and 16 remained unchanged.
