DHAKA: A workshop on Social Business, with participation of 100 national and foreign businesspersons, was held in city’s Grameen Bank building auditorium on Saturday.

Noble winner Dr Mohammad Yunus chaired the program where six new proposals of social business were presented.

To implement the proposals, Grameen Bank Telecom trust and a Chittagong Hill Tracks-based NGO signed an agreement.

The next workshop on social business will be held on September 17.
