DHAKA: Janata Bank Ltd will provide financial assistance of Tk 10 crore as a part of their CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) in setting up of ‘Janata Bank-BIRDEM Ibrahim Nursing College’.

JB Chairman Professor Dr Abul Barkat handed over a symbolic cheque to Bangladesh Diabetic Samity (BADAS) president Dr AK Azad Khan on Monday in this regard.

Earlier in the day, JB deputy managing director M Iftikhar Uz Zaman and BADAS secretary general Saif Uddin signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on behalf of their respective organizations.

Director General of BIRDEM General Hospital Professor Dr Nazmun Nahar, BADAS joint general secretary Professor Dr Rashid-e-Mahbub, Nursing College Principal Dr Asia Khatun and other high ups from the both the organizations were present in the signing ceremony.
