DHAKA: International Monetary Fund (IMF) representative to Bangladesh Stella Kaendera proposed to lessen tax and increase its network.

The economy of Bangladesh is flourishing, said Stella Kaendera when she made a courtesy call on Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal in city’s Sher-e-Bangla Nagar area on Tuesday.

Stella said IMF currently provide debt one billion dollar in some developing sectors for strengthening the financial organization of Bangladesh.

Recently a delegation of Amman will come to discuss about new aid and other matters. They will give aid as per proposal from Bangladeshi team, she added.
