DHAKA: The National Board of Revenue (NBR) extended the deadline for submitting income tax returns for 2013-2014 FY by one month up to October 31.

The NBR came up with the disclosure at a press briefing on Monday.

In a statement, the board said that the extension came following the demands from leading business associations.
 
The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) and other chambers requested the government to extend the deadline.
