Bangladesh sets example in housing sector, say top business leaders President of IICCI Real State Bangladesh Mahir Ali Khan Ratul handed over a crest to special guest Bashundhara Group Managing Director (MD) Sayem Sobhan Anvir at the ceremony.

Bangladesh has set an example in the housing and real estate industry as it had played a major role in national economy in the last 30 years, said top business leaders of Bangladesh and India.

Mentioning that the housing industry also contributed to the development of other industries including employment, industrialists said more focus and emphasis should be placed on the housing industry for continued economic growth. 

Big businessmen expressed this view at a reception ceremony for Mahir Ali Khan Ratul, the new President of Real Estate sector of Indian Importers Chambers of Commerce and Industries of Bangladesh, at a hotel in Gulshan of the capital on Sunday.

Indian Importers Chambers of Commerce and Industry (IICCI) President Atul Kumar Saxena presided over the ceremony organized by the platform's Bangladesh chapter. 

Bashundhara Group Managing Director (MD) Sayem Sobhan Anvir also attended the program as a special guest.

Besides, Dhaka Chamber's former president Sabur Khan, Rupayan Group Chairman Liaquat Ali Khan Mukul, Adviser Sadat Selim, BKMEA first Vice-President Md Hatem, REHAB Vice-President Engineer Md Sohel, IICCI Vice-President Syed Shameem Reza, and Asian Group Chairman Harun-ur-Rashid, among others, were present at the event.
