Mohammed Jamil Iqbal, vice chairman of NRB Bank Limited and owner of M/S Md Jamil Iqbal Company has been honored as the second highest tax payer in the country and the highest tax payer in the Sylhet region as firm category by National Board of Revenue (NBR) for the fiscal year 2020-2021. 

Mohammed Jamil Iqbal has received the award and tax card from Md Jasim Uddin, president of FBCCI and Abu Hena Md Rahmatul Muneem, senior secretary of the Internal Resources Division and chairman of National Board of Revenue at a ceremony held at Officers’ Club Dhaka, on Wednesday November 24. 

Minister of Finance A H M Mustafa Kamal, FCA, MP, was present as the chief guest. 

Iqbal achieved the award for a consecutive 7 years.
