Bashundhara Cement's workshop to boost skills of masons in Tangail

Bashundhara Cement arranged a workshop for masons in Tangail to boost their expertise in making artistic and sustainable constructions.

The workshop titled ‘Masons’ contribution in artistic construction’ was held at a restaurant in Tangail district on Saturday (June 11).

Bashundhara Cement DSI Raju Ahmed of Mymensingh Region, Tangail Region’s ASM Jahangir Hossain, TSM Safiqul Islam of Tangail Sadar Territory, TSE Faruk Hossain of Bashundhara Cement, Engineer HM Jewel Rana and Selim Reza were present on the occasion.

Engineer Khandaker Saeed Al-Khalid, President of Tangail Planners and Designers Association, Shahidul Alam, Engineer of Tangail Municipality and Shamim Al-Mamun, Engineer of Ghatail Municipality, provided various suggestions regarding construction techniques at the workshop.

HM Jewel Rana presented different issues related to house construction with Bashundhara brand cement.

About popularity of Bashundhara cement, the speakers mentioned that nearly 5 lakh bags of Bashundhara brand cement are being sold daily.
 
Since, Bashundhara is the best cement in the country, mega projects are being built with it. This brand is being used in the Padma Bridge Construction Project, Padma Bridge River Training Project, Padma Bridge Approach Road, Metrorail Project, Sasek Road Project, Bhulta Flyover Project, Kalshi Flyover Project, Rupsha Rail Bridge Project and Rampal Power Plant Project.

Over 100 masons took part in the workshop. A raffle draw was also held at the end of the function and the winners were presented with gift item. Besides, general gifts were given to all participants.
