DHAKA UNIVERSITY: 12 admission seekers were detained during admission tests of Dhaka University KA-Unit for the academic year 2014-15 for their alleged involvement in forging in the examination. 

Of the detainees, three were held from Science faculty and rest others were detained from Arts Bhaban, Dhanmondi Ideal College, Eden Mohila College, Notre Dame, Motijheel Ideal, Agrani School and Nilkhet High School.

DU acting Proctor Professor AM Amjad confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Earlier in the day, the examination started at 10:00am in 76 centers in and out of university campus and continued till 11:30am.

A total of 80,442 admission seekers competed for 1,640 seats for the group.
