Following significant political changes, the National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB) of Bangladesh is revising textbooks for primary and secondary education to include a chapter on the recent student-led uprising.

The new updates will showcase graffiti and wall art from the protests.

According to NCTB, the revisions aim to reflect the spirit of the uprising through visual representations rather than extensive written accounts. 

Subjects like Bangla, History, and Bangladesh and Global Identity will incorporate these images, while Hasina's pictures and quotes will be removed from the back cover and replaced with renowned quotations, said NCTB.
