DHAKA: Office hours for government, semi-government, autonomous and semi-autonomous organisations will be from 9:00am to 3:30pm during the month of Ramadan instead of the existing 9:00am-5:00pm timings.

The office schedule for Sunday to Thursday will have a prayer break from 1:15pm to 1:30pm.

The cabinet Thursday fixed the new office timings at its weekly meeting with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair.

After the meeting, Prime minister`s press secretary Abul Kalam Azad disclosed the decision at a press briefing.
