DHAKA: Two working brothers fell off the 18th floor of a building in the capital’s Motijheel area while painting the high-rise Tuesday and died a terrible death.
The deceased are identified as Mohammad Abbas, 30, and Mohammad Swapan, 28, the two poor brothers hailed from a backwater locality in Muladi of Barisal.
“The two siblings died instantly after the fall,” says a spot account of the tragedy.
Motijheel thana SI Md. Kabir told banglnews24.com.bd that the two fell down onto the ground as the rope of a makeshift ladder tore at about 12:30pm while they were doing the painting work on the 18th floor of WW Bhaban.
