SATKHIRA: Two motorcyclists were crushed under the wheels of a recklessly driven bus in the district’s Shyam Nagar upazila on Saturday noon.

The deceased were identified as Habibur Rahman, 25, son of Abul Kasim of village Koikhali, and Johor Ali Mallik, 28, son of Abdul Hamid of same village.

Officer-in-charge of Shyam nagar police station Abdul Hye told banglanews24.com.bd, “A Shyam Nagar-bound bus ran over the motorbike of the victims, leaving them dead on the spot.”

On information, police rushed to the spot and seized the bus. However, the driver managed to flee the scene.
