35 more detained in Ctg over sabotage cases

At least 35 more people arrested in the port city for allegedly conducting terrorist activities, killings, riots and sabotage in 24 hours.

According to Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP), till now a total of 408 people have been arrested in 17 sabotage cases. 

CMP Media and Public Relations Department Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Kazi Md. Tarek Aziz told Banglanews that the police have filed these cases as plaintiffs under the Explosives Act and alleging murder, rioting and obstructing government work. 

“We are identifying the accused watching CCTV footage and intelligence report,” he added.
