Suspected outlaws nabbed with arms in Sirajganj

Sirajganj: Police in a raid arrested an elderly man and his two sons as suspected outlaws along with firearms from a remote village in Belkuchi upazila on Saturday morning.

A police team raided Masum village on the charland of the River Jamuna at about 6:30am and picked up Azizul Haq, 60, and his sons Belal Hossain, 35, and Swapan Sheikh, 20.

Three pistols, a Chinese axe and one bullet were seized from their possession, police said.

Additional Super of Police in the district Delwar Hossain Sayidee said the arrested persons are the members of a banned outfit and involved in the looting of Randhunibari police camp.
