BNP chairperson’s adviser and former lawmaker Begum Rozi Kabir has passed away at the age of 73.
She breathed her last on Wednesday (November 13) at 5 am while undergoing treatment at Dhaka’s Evercare Hospital.
She had been suffering from liver disease for a long time. She leaves behind two sons, two daughters, numerous well-wishers, relatives, and political colleagues.
Idris Ali, a BNP leader from Chattogram, informed that after her body is transported from Dhaka to Chattogram, the schedule for her funeral prayer (Namaj-e-janaza) will be announced.
Begum Rozi Kabir was born into the prominent Zamindar family of Azgar Ali Chowdhury in North Halishahar, Chattogram.
