Hasanul Haq Inu arrested

Hasanul Haq Inu, former information minister under Awami League-led coalition government during 2012-2019 has been arrested. 

He was arrested from Uttara area of the capital on Monday (August 26) afternoon.

He is the president of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD), a socialist political party, and a key ally of Awami League party, which was ousted from power on August 5 for its authoritarian policies.
