BNP’s acting chairman Tarique Rahman has called a party’s Standing Committee meeting, on Monday (January 6) at the party chairperson's office in Gulshan. 

The meeting scheduled to be held at 8:30 pm.

Shairul Kabir Khan, a member of the BNP Media Cell, confirmed the matter.

Tarique Rahman will join the meeting virtually. 

According to party sources the meeting is being held ahead of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s medical trip and is expected to discuss key strategies and new decisions.
